CAD Designer / Playground Designer
Ulverston | £23,500 to £29,000 depending on experience
Full time | 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Office based

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative CAD Designer to join a collaborative team and play a key role in turning ideas into engaging playground environments. Your designs will quite literally help shape spaces where children explore, learn and have fun.

The Role
As a CAD Designer, you will combine creativity with technical design skills to bring playground concepts to life.
Your responsibilities will include:

Producing accurate CAD layouts and visual designs based on client requirements and site information
Preparing costings and design proposals for projects
Ensuring all designs meet relevant safety standards
Maintaining clear and organised records of design information
Working closely with colleagues to share ideas and develop the best solutions for each project
Managing multiple design requests and supporting the team in meeting project deadlines
About You
This role would suit someone who enjoys creative design work but also values precision and organisation.
You may have experience as a CAD Designer, Junior Designer, Architectural Technician or similar.
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience using AutoCAD or similar design software
Has good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Enjoys problem solving and working on a variety of design projects
Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
