BX2 are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter for a well-established family-owned business based in Manchester

Mechanical Engineer / Fitter

Skills, Experience, and education required:

* Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer / Fitter within a Food Production Environment

* Apprentice trained or relevant qualifications

* Proficient with Microsoft Office

* Ability to work individually and as part of a team

* Experience working in a 5S environment and ensuring a tidy and clean as you go policy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

* Support current engineer team whilst liaising with the production team to ensure all machines are well maintained and ready for production.

* Ensuring machine PMS records are kept updated

* Reactive Maintenance / Breakdowns

* Working with the team on ongoing projects
