The Finance Manager shares duties with an equivalent role – covering multi-business financial control, handling management and statutory accounting for the companies.

The job is quite varied - including cash and cashbook control, financial control, purchase ledger, credit control, some small payroll, and the creation of monthly management reporting packs.

More specifically :

• Provide the management team with timely accurate reporting on the results of the Group, this would include preparation of the monthly management packs.
• Coordination with external accountants handling year- end corporate and Directors’ tax filings.
• Control and reconciliation of inter-company transactions.
• Cash and cash-flow management across all entities.
• Supporting the Directors’ business financial requirements.
• Development of finance department, including formalization of processes, process improvement, and implementation of structured working.

Tandem working with Finance Manager equivalent – sharing / cycling duties, mutual cover, auditing.

Working in a small friendly office in a busy company mainly related to Motorcycle and parts sales.

AAT or part qualified ACCA/CIMA

Given the nature of the environment, working from home is not an option, nor is flexible working.

Hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday.
