Assistant Acoustic Consultant - London

A long established acoustic consultancy based in the London region is urgently looking to recruit an Assistant Acoustic Consultant to working on some of the capital's most exciting projects across architectural design services in the arts sectors.

Essential requirements for this role are; a BSc or MSc in Acoustics or closely related field, driving license and IT literacy.

Typical duties of this role are acoustic project administration, undertaking noise surveys, aurilization techniques for consultancy services, completing basic acoustic calculations, writing reports and assisting senior staff members.

Previous working experience of Acoustics is desirable but not essential, as is the use of noise modelling software such as Odeon or Bastien. You need to have a positive and creative attitude to problem solving, and possess a team spirited attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative. Great attention to detail is needed at all times to complete your day to day tasks, and you must also be able to prioritise and manage your workload to meet project deadlines.
