Salary: £90 - £130 / daily

KS2 Teacher - Year 3 Teacher

Location: North Liverpool  

Pay Rate: £90.00-£130.00 per day

We're partnering with a 'Good' Primary school, looking for a KS2 Teacher to start a long term after Easter Holidays for initially 4 weeks. The school is a 3 form entry and you will be working with a supportive KS2 team who really work well together, share planning and support each other. 

You will be supported with an experience TA who will take small groups for intervention session, there is a large % of EAL pupils in the class and there is one SEN TA in the class full-time. The school has great outdoor learning areas and the Head Teacher promotes all their Teachers to teach outdoor and promote creative lessons to really engage their children

We have gained impressive feedback from our Teachers and Teaching Assistants who we have placed in the school in supply posts, highlighting how supportive and welcoming the staff are at the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching all areas of the KS2 primary curriculum,
  • Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
  • Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
  • Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
  • Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
  • Maintaining discipline

Required Skills & Experience:

  • KS2 Teaching experience,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience and self-discipline.
