We're hiring an Electrical Fitter to join a globally recognised manufacturer based in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped heavy engineering workshop, wiring and testing electrical control panels as part of a skilled and experienced team.

What will you be doing as an Electrical Fitter?
* Control panel assembly - building, wiring and testing electrical control panels
* Fitting and wiring electro-mechanical wire-roped hoists and testing to specification
* Assembling and connecting electromechanical components
* Reading and working from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
* Carrying out electrical fault finding where required
* Ensuring all work conforms to relevant drawing specifications and tolerances
* Checking that calibrated equipment is in good condition and within calibration date
What do you need?
* Time served to NVQ3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
* Experience working as an electrician within heavy manufacturing
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
* Experience with 3 phase electrical systems and panel wiring
* Experience with frequency inverters and PLCs
