The Role

Our client has a passion for travel and a passion for delivering the very best service to each and every valued customer that they face. Within this role as a Home Based Travel Advisor you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional customer service, support and industry knowledge.

You will be:

  • Handling large volumes of customer queries via inbound calls, queries will vary from customer to customer but will predominantly include; bookings and amendments, processing payments, updating booking/details and travel advice.
  • Providing expert knowledge and advice to customers by listening to their wants, needs and desires in order for us to find them the right holiday.
  • On hand to assist with any questions or requirements our customers may have - doing our very best to ensure they leave satisfied and with the information they need.
  • Using a wide variety of in-house systems; the ability to navigate and accurately update these systems is an essential part of ensuring we do all that we say we will for our customers

What we are looking for from you:

  • Previous customer service experience is required, we are open to all industries and backgrounds as our client is willing to invest in YOU and will provide full training and development to all successful candidates - all you need is a PASSION for customers and learning, a friendly and supportive PERSONALITY.
  • Experience or qualifications within the travel industry would be highly desirable but not beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to work across 2 screens and a variety of systems.
  • Confidence and comfort to work independently with the ability to be self motivated.

The Hours

Our clients contact centre is accessible 7 days a week to ensure their valued customers can always get in touch, as part of this role you will be required to work hours between;

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am-10:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am-9:00pm

Your working pattern will include working evenings and/or weekends.

Location: Work from Home, UK Wide

This is a 100% fully remote position from day 1 - our client will provide you with required computer equipment which will be delivered to your door prior to training, all you will need is a high speed broadband connection and a suitable space to work from home. You will enter our clients induction programme and will be provided with full virtual training from their incredible training department!
