Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 support as a Learning Support Assistant
- Support small group learning as a Learning Support Assistant
- Work with pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs as a Learning Support Assistant
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO as a Learning Support Assistant
- Support behaviour management and emotional development as a Learning Support Assistant
Requirements for a Learning Support Assistant:
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or with children with SEN
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm and consistent approach to supporting behaviour
- Passion for education and supporting young learners
- Ability to start immediately
