We are seeking a Technical Engineer to join a leading company in the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role is based in Sheffield and focuses on delivering technical solutions and supporting engineering projects.

Description

Technical review of sales orders.
Pre-purchase technical reviews and / or advice to Key Account Managers.
Review and approval of MTC's from suppliers against internal purchase specifications.
Processing technical certifications.
Entering test and analysis data.
Obtain up to date lead times from all test houses used for any required tests.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production.
Creation and implementation of manufacturing process specifications, quality plans and control plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
Participate in the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions.
Support the testing and commissioning of new equipment or processes.Profile

A successful Technical Engineer should have:

Solid technical knowledge of the Steel sector.
Proven experience in the Technical/Quality.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
