Plasterer - Multi Trade

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of the BD Group for a Plasterer - Multi Trade

• Location: Barking & Dagenham
• Pay: £21.70 per hour PAYE
• Contract: Temporary or Fixed-Term Contract
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 36 hours per week (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence Required
• Council van + fuel card provided

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plasterer with Multi-Trade skills to join the BD Group's Repairs & Maintenance team. You will work across tenanted and void properties, carrying out high-quality plastering and associated repair works while ensuring a first-time fix wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs including skimming, boarding, patch repairs and rendering.
• Support wider multi-trade activities including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, or maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergency repairs across residential properties.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate job records using PDA/job management systems.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety and housing compliance standards.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Plasterer in domestic or social housing settings.
• Knowledge of additional trades (multi-trade).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality repairs.
