CAD Technician - Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

We're seeking a skilled CAD Technician with experience in bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects. You'll be responsible for turning architectural and design intent drawings into accurate, manufacture-ready CAD outputs.

What You'll Be Doing:
Producing detailed 2D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery manufacture

Translating design concepts into technical construction models

Creating cutting lists, CNC outputs, and joinery ID schedules

Reviewing and integrating site survey data into drawings

Ensuring outputs meet UK building regs, NBS specs, and internal QA

Liaising with factory teams, subcontractors, and buyers to resolve buildability issues

Tracking time and highlighting any variations or additional works

What We're Looking For:
Strong AutoCAD 2D skills (3D a plus)

Background in interior fit-out, joinery, or shopfitting

Ability to read and interpret architectural and design intent drawings

Comfortable producing manufacturing and as-built drawings

Experience collaborating with internal departments and subcontractors

Knowledge of relevant UK regs (fire, BREEAM, DDA, CDM)

Based within commutable distance of Leicester (this is an office-based role)
