OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Sales Ledger Clerk to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Warwick. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales ledger professional looking for flexible, part-time hours.
Please note, the role is currently based in Warwick but will relocate to a new office in Coventry from September, so flexibility to travel to both locations is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesRaising and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Managing the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded
Monitoring customer accounts and maintaining up-to-date records
Chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control activities
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
Investigating and resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
Assisting with month-end processes related to sales ledger
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
Person SpecificationPrevious experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
Good understanding of invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control processes
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
Competent user of Excel and finance systems
Additional InformationFlexible working pattern across 2-3 days per week (approx. 19 hours)
