The Operations Finance Business Partner will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance and support within the manufacturing industry. Acting as the bridge between Finance and Operations, you'll provide insightful financial analysis and support decision-making that enhances business performance.

Description
Business Partnering & Performance Management
- Partner with manufacturing site leadership teams to understand operational drivers and deliver meaningful financial insight, whilst challenging the status quo, to ensure the business is continually improving.
- Support site performance reviews, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and margin enhancement.
- Provide real-time financial analysis to support production planning, inventory management, and capacity utilization.
- Work with the wider finance team to forecast and explain monthly performance, taking appropriate action for continuous improvement.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- Support with product costing, standard cost setting, and variance analysis (material, labour, and direct costs of production).
- Prepare and present monthly management packs with clear performance commentary and improvement recommendations.
Operational & Strategic Support
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to optimize material costs and working capital.
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance cost control and resource utilization.
Profile
Successful applicants should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Proven experience in a commercial finance role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present financial insights to stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
