CNC Miller - Shipley
£17.50 per hour + DOE | Monday to Thursday | 7:00am - 5:00pm

Thrive Group are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Shipley. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with a company operating within a fast-paced and quality-driven engineering environment.

The Role:
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances. The role involves working from technical drawings and ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC milling machines
• Edit and prove out programs as required
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where necessary
• Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in CNC milling is essential
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Experience with programming/editing (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday
• 7:00am - 5:00pm
• Overtime may be available

Pay:

• £17.50 per hour + depending on experience
