Employment & Skills Trainer – Temporary Vacancy

Location: Hastings/Erith (Hybrid and travel)Assignment Duration: 6 April 2026 – 31 May 2026 (8 weeks)Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pmPay: £15.28 per hour PAYE (+ holiday pay) or £19.69 umbrella

You will deliver group training sessions, provide 1-to-1 guidance, and help learners build confidence, improve employability, and overcome barriers to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging employment and skills workshops
• Provide tailored 1-to-1 support including CV writing, interview prep, and job-search coaching
• Create personalised action plans and track learner progress
• Support learners with digital skills and general work readiness
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
• Travel between sites as required (mileage claimable at 45p per mile)

Requirements

• Basic DBS (required before starting)
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience delivering training, employability support, coaching, or similar services
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Comfortable working in a hybrid structure
