About the Company

Our client is an award-winning manufacturer of specialist engineering solutions to a global and loyal customer base.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team.

If you have some technical or engineering background and experience in customer service, sales support or sales administration AND you enjoy working with customers and technical products, then this role could be for you.

The Role

As Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales team and help ensure an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to order completion.

You will work closely with customers, technical colleagues and internal departments to manage enquiries, prepare quotations and ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner

* Prepare quotations for existing customers and straightforward projects

* Process orders, raise proforma invoices and check documentation for accuracy

* Liaise with internal teams to provide updates on orders, lead times and requirements

* Build strong customer relationships and maintain excellent service levels

* Maintain accurate records within the CRM system

* Provide administrative support to Technical Sales Engineers

* Identify potential issues and escalate where appropriate

* Develop and maintain a good understanding of the company's product range

About You

Essential

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a B2B sales support, sales coordination or customer service role

* Understanding of the sales process

* Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

* Confident communicator, both written and verbal

* Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems

* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities

* Proactive, customer-focused and commercially aware

Desirable

* Higher education qualification (ideally technical or engineering related)

* Experience supporting sales of technical or engineered products

* Experience working with international customers

* Background in a fast-paced sales administration environment

* Additional language skills
