Our client have a need for English support in the form of Literacy and Reading intervention and are looking for two educators to join them and support their cohort in improving their levels of English.
The school are utilising the COVID catch-up funding and would like someone to join them and help provide support to identified students in need of support in their English.
The school are looking for people to work specifically within the English department as well as the wider school holding the responsibility for Literacy and Reading intervention, with full training available to the incoming educators. The educators will hold the responsibility for leading small group sessions of pre-planned work as well as working one-to-one with identified students, and the school have mentioned anyone with previous experience working with young people who do not speak English as their first language would be highly desirable for one of the upcoming roles. The post could also be suitable for educators with a background in Primary, supporting KS2.
