JOB - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION - Ipswich  

TERM- Permanent

SHIFT PATTERN - Rotating on a Panama shift pattern 2 / 2 / 3

SALARY - £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer in the Food & Drink industry. They are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Ipswich on a permanent basis.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
Ideally be experienced working on Plant equipment and Machinery
Able to work safely and methodically
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work 

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery & Plant equipment
Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
