Job Title: Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30 - 20:30

Right Now Group are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our valued logistic client
Our client is a dynamic logistics company specialising in the storage, handling, and distribution of premium gaming and event equipment.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This role is split between warehouse duties and forklift operation helping to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking & Packing: Preparing event goods such as props, gaming chairs, equipment cases, controllers, cables, games, printers, and consoles for dispatch.
• Forklift Driving: Unloading and loading Luton vans and other vehicles and placing goods into the correct designated storage areas.
• Operate a forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock control and record-keeping.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Working closely with and reporting to the Operations Director on day-to-day duties achieved.

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and Reach).
• Previous 1-2 year forklift driving experience.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required.
• Driving licence is not essential but would be beneficial.
