About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client on an immediate temporary basis, with a possibility of the role becoming permanent. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day purchase ledger duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately enter and code supplier invoices into the finance system.
- Payment Runs: Prepare, organise, and process weekly/monthly payment runs.
- Supplier Payments: Reconcile and pay off payment runs in line with finance procedures.
- Statement Reconciliation: Check supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accounts are up to date.
- Supplier Queries: Handle and resolve supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Filing & Administration: Maintain organised filing systems to ensure audit-ready records.
