Description
- Inventory & Supply Chain Finance: Coordinate forecasting accuracy with supply chain and provide financial advice on supply delays, including risk and backup planning.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning: Support financial planning cycles (budget, forecast, business plans) and ensure forecast accuracy for P&L, cash flow, and working capital
- Period-End Closing & Controls: Ensure accuracy in postings and accruals during month-end close, conduct analytical reviews, and perform internal controls.
- Costing & Transfer Pricing: Perform variance analysis, support analysis of transfer pricing in collaboration with the Finance Director (FD) and CoE.
- Strategic Finance & Business Partnering: Actively advise, challenge, and support the business with data-driven insights, variance assessments, and performance improvement actions.
- Performance Monitoring & Efficiency: Monitor key financial ratios, identify improvement areas, and propose efficiency measures to enhance financial and operational performance.
- Projects & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to corporate finance program rollouts, promote standardization of systems, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Management Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial forecasts, analyse product P&Ls monthly, and provide insights and corrective actions for deviations and risks.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, fiscal regulations, and proactively manage financial risks.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with CoE, SDMs, GPO, and BPO for smooth delivery and continuous improvement of finance processes.
Profile
A successful Interim Senior Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial leadership roles within a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to managing and improving financial processes.
