We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the warehouse. We have fixed AM, PM and Night Shifts Available for these ongoing roles.

Responsibilities

* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse.

* Load and unload materials from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

* Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System.

* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments.

* Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure safe operation.

* Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency within the warehouse.

Skills

* In date counterbalance license

* Proven history of driving a Counterbalance Forklift Truck

* Proficient in materials handling techniques and best practices.

* Experience with heavy lifting, demonstrating physical capability for demanding tasks.

* Familiarity with operating forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment.

* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
