Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Vice President who would join our company’s growing leadership
team. Reporting to the organization’s Chief Operating Officer, the VP of Operations will provide
management and oversight to pharmacy operations, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, development
of strong partnerships, promotion of innovative services and processes, and provision of focused leadership
in operational and financial performance. The VP of Operations will collaborate with all senior leadership in
order to meet the company’s objectives in addition to having a passion for success and a proven record of
successful strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing operations. Responsible for the direction and
management of retail and specialty pharmacies, contracting, compliance, and administrative functions with
the responsibility for revenue generation, market penetration, sales and operations analysis, financial analysis,
problem resolution, expense control and personnel management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals
 Develop and monitor management objectives for various business units, pharmacies and/or managed
clients.
 Develop annual operating and capital budgets, balance sheets and business plans with the primarily
responsibility of implementation of operating plan within or below planned budget.
 Develop strategic sales and marketing plans for the appropriate business units, pharmacies and/or
managed clients.
 Develop organizational structures supporting business objectives and providing support for all areas of
employment in conjunction with human resources including orientation, training, and development
activities.
 Past experience in working within the NCPDP standards and understand how to differentiate medication
NDCs to identify revenue and margin optimization.
 Understands and have past experience in central-fill pharmacy operations
 Understands and have past experience in operating Contract Pharmacies within the 340B space
 Develop, support, and provide oversite in the creation of KPI and management reports in conjunction
with information technology including data reviewing, quality assurance and data integrity review.

 Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Education, Experience & Licensure:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field. A pharmacy degree (Pharm
D) is strongly preferred. Master’s degree in business or health care administration or equivalent is a plus.
 Minimum 10 years of health care management and pharmacy operational experience.
 Experience in 340B program management is a plus
 Senior leadership in a health care or pharmacy organization with pharmaceutical services knowledge and
experience.

 Ability to direct and mentor the development of direct reports to ensure future growth
 High degree of initiative, self-starter, goal-oriented, and able to motivate individuals to achieve targeted
results
 Must be able to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) in areas
such as drafting documents, creating spreadsheets, and organizing calendars thru email
