My client is a leader within their field across the North-West and due to expansion and an influx of leads and opportunities, they are looking to establish a telecoms arm within their business. This has created a role for a BDM specialising in selling VOIP solutions. You will ideally be a commercially aware Business Development Manager able to work independently and able to both generate new business and convert incoming leads. We are looking for someone who wants to create and set-up their own division with the know-how and organisational skills to perform
The Duties:
- Devising an effective business development strategy to identify target clients
- Contacting new business prospects to qualify leads and opportunities
- Understanding client needs
- Discussing VOIP services and solutions
- Managing a pipeline of leads and opportunities
- Creating quotes and proposals
- Closing opportunities
- Account managing clients for repeat and retained business
- Working to targets and KPIs
The Person:
- Extensive experience in a proactive business development role such as: BDM, Business Development Executive, Field Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Account Manager
- A proven track record of selling VOIP telecoms solutions is essential
- Strong relationship management skills
- A consultative sales approach is essential
- Strong service led approach
- Drive and tenacity
