EYFS Teaching Assistant – NG2 Area (Nottingham)Location: NG2, NottinghamContract Type: Full-time / Part-time Start Date: AprilAbout the Role We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the NG2 area. This role involves working closely with children in Nursery or Reception, supporting their early development through play-based learning.Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to develop early skills
• Assist with phonics, early maths, and communication development
• Encourage learning through play, exploration, and creativity
• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with young children (EYFS or nursery setting preferred)
• A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Good understanding of early childhood development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare) – desirable
