Warehouse Operative

Meridian is seeking a Warehouse Operative for one of our clients in Cheltenham at their bustling manufacturing facility. The role includes stock administration and general warehouse duties, with opportunities for long-term career progression within the company.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am - 12pm with overtime available

Warehouse Operative duties will include:

Handling material using various MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
Completing related paperwork;
Stock checks and cycle counting;
Receipt and unpacking of product into department;
Support other warehouse operatives;Skills/experience required:

Previous experience in a similar role;
Experience using handheld scanners and working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
A strong level of literacy and numeracy (counting out items, checking part numbers, completing paperwork);
Keen eye-for-detail;
Experience operating MHE (forklifts, PPT etc)Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury and surrounding areas.
