1. X Team Leader for Lates (2.30pm to Midnight Monday to Thursday) £25.91

Monday to Wednesday: 14:30 to 00:30

Thursday: 14:30 to 00:00

Friday: Non-working day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Clevedon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about driving team performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As Team Leader, you will take ownership of a defined production cell, ensuring operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled team, ensuring targets are met while fostering a positive and high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring output meets agreed schedules and quality standards

* Promote a strong health, safety, and well being culture across the team

* Drive efficiency through effective use of people, time, and resources

* Manage team performance, behaviour, attendance, and development

* Deliver daily team briefings and ensure clear communication across departments

* Identify process improvements and support implementation of operational changes

* Resolve production issues quickly and effectively

* Maintain workplace organisation standards (e.g., 6S)

* Support training, coaching, and development to build a capable, flexible workforce

* Act as a key point of contact for technical and quality-related matters

About You

* Proven experience leading and motivating teams within a manufacturing or engineering environment

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

* Competent in IT systems, including Microsoft Office

* A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable:

* HNC (or equivalent) in a manufacturing or engineering discipline
