We are seeking an IT Recruiterto join our team at our client site! We have an outstanding opportunity for someone who is motivated to excel and able to influence while building strong relationships.
This person will play a critical role in partnering with our customer to source, screen and match candidates for their temporary and permanent needs within IT, Engineering and Technical fields.
Build partnerships with hiring managers to gain a better understanding of staffing needs work collaborative on recruitment strategies
Provide staffing support in the areas of sourcing, screening and selection of qualified applicants
Manage position vacancies using an applicant tracking system (ATS) to include: posting vacancies, searching the database, reviewing resumes, forwarding resumes and maintain candidate activity.
Train hiring managers on the ATS so they may effectively select qualified candidates
Interview candidates to determine knowledge, skills, and abilities compared to job scope and requirements
Evaluate candidate fit to company needs and make recommendations to hiring managers based on interviews schedule interview as needed
Perform reference checks as required
Draft offer letters in accordance with policy and procedures
Administer pre-employment assessments
Act as Equal employer Officer to ensure the company attracts, employs and maintains hiring practices for diverse workforce
Manage all print-media advertising and other recruitment advertising to include recruitment brochures and campaigns
Manage and coordinate candidates relocations to ensure adherence to company policy and procedures
Attend job fairs and/or trade shows when appropriate
Maintain Ad placement on job boards
Develop innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies to meet the business needs and focus on hard to fil, positions
Monitor the competitive environment and successfully negotiate and deliver a compelling offer for final candidates.
Adheres to all policies and procedures concerning all confidential info0rmation including but not limited to internal use and restricted information, including Protected Consumer Information (PCI) and Protected health Information (PHI)
Adheres to all Company Health and Safety policies and Procedures
Administers duties as defined by the Client’s performance review plan within required deadlines
Other duties as assigned by management /supervisor
Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in IT industry
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Experience in Southern California market
Strong people, organizational and networking skills
Must be organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and professional
Must be able to work comfortably and effectively with diverse group of staff members and the general public, both on the phone and in person
Must have experience with word processing, desktop publishing and database
Requires detailed knowledge of computer applications
Bachelor’s degree and previous experience a must
