Position: Transport Planner (Monday - Friday)Location: London GatewaySalary: £30-36k DOE

Transport Planner required to join a leading national Transport company actively seeking a skilled Planner to join their expanding team in their London Gateway (Essex) branch.

Position Overview:

• Manage and liaise with own and third party drivers
• Communicating with ports and agents
• Using a Transport booking system to input data
• Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
• Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system

Position Requirements:

• Proven ability in a Transport Planning role
• Background in Container or Port planning is highly desirable
• Strong UK geographical knowledge
• Knowledge of drivers hours, TACHO data and compliance

Position Salary & Package:

• £30-36k DOE
• Monday - Friday core hours
• 20 days holiday + banks
