We are actively recruiting enthusiastic and proactive Cover Supervisors for a September start. What you'll be doing (Your Main Duties):
- Manage Classroom Activities: Oversee classes and deliver pre-planned lesson material across various subjects.
- Enforce School Policies: Ensure students adhere to the school's behavioural standards and procedures.
- Keep Students Engaged: Use your initiative to maintain a productive and positive atmosphere, keeping pupils on task.
- Liaise with Staff: Report on student behaviour, completed work, and any other relevant information.
- Adapt and Support: Be prepared to cover different year groups and subjects at short notice.
Skills & Qualifications needed:
- Experience in an educational setting or working with young people.
- A confident and resilient approach to classroom management.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
