We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy timber manufacturing facility based in Rochdale. The role involves working within a fast-paced production environment assembling timber components used within the construction industry.

This is a long-term ongoing position with consistent hours and early finishes on Fridays.

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
• 45-minute unpaid lunch break

Pay

• £12.21 per hour
• Ongoing work

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling timber components used within the construction industry
• Measuring, cutting, and positioning materials accurately
• Using hand tools and power tools
• Following basic technical drawings and job sheets
• Operating production machinery safely
• Maintaining quality standards during manufacturing
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production environments is beneficial
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
