The Opportunity

A leading infrastructure consultancy is seeking an experienced Chartered Engineer to play a key role in delivering Water AMP8 projects across the UK. This is your chance to work on high-profile engineering schemes for critical UK infrastructure, contributing to transformational projects both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage hydraulic design work in line with industry standards and codes.

Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.

Manage time and budgets to achieve project milestones.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

Ensure all designs meet quality assurance requirements.

Requirements

Chartered Civil Engineer (essential).

Proven track record leading multidisciplinary hydraulic design projects.

Strong technical expertise in:

Hydraulic design for water/wastewater treatment plants

Pipeline design

Surge analysis

Familiarity with UK design standards and best practice.

Experience with Design & Build project delivery.

Skilled in industry-standard software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.

Recognised professional profile within the hydraulics/water engineering sector.
