Residential Conveyancer / NQ Solicitor - Cheltenham
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary: £28,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

A well-regarded and friendly law firm in Cheltenham is looking to welcome a Residential Conveyancer or Newly Qualified Solicitor to its property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their legal career or with some previous conveyancing experience to develop within a supportive, client-focused environment.
The Role
You'll handle a broad caseload of residential property matters, including:
Sales and purchases
Remortgages
Transfers of equity
Support and supervision will be provided as you build your confidence and technical knowledge. The firm prides itself on quality over quantity, focusing on excellent service and strong client relationships rather than volume.
Key Responsibilities
Managing your own caseload with guidance when needed
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
Drafting contracts, reviewing searches, and reporting to clients
Working collaboratively with the wider team and receiving hands-on mentorship
About You
NQ Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX Legal Executive
Prior experience in residential conveyancing (pre- or post-qualification)
Strong communication skills and a client-centric approach
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own workload
