About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is proud to collaborate with a highly regarded provider, known for its Outstanding/Good Ofsted ratings, to recruit a dedicated Registered Manager for a 6-bed children's residential home in Camden. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate leader to oversee a nurturing environment for young people aged 11-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), driving excellence and making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the home's operations, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with Ofsted standards, the Children's Act 1989, and Care Standards Act 2000.

  • Lead and mentor a committed team to deliver tailored, therapeutic support for young people with EBD.

  • Develop and oversee care plans, risk assessments, and rotas (including evenings/weekends) to maintain exceptional standards.

  • Build strong partnerships with external agencies, local authorities, and professionals to uphold best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve or maintain an Outstanding Ofsted rating.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and daily operations to create a safe, supportive environment.

About You

  • Essential:

    • 2-3 years' experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential setting.

    • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children.

    • Proven experience supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

    • Strong knowledge of the Children's Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, and safeguarding protocols.

    • Confident leadership, excellent communication, and organisational skills.

  • Desirable:

    • A track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

    • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team in a residential setting.

  • Competitive base salary of £47,958.75, with OTE up to £63,158.75 including bonuses (£5,000 for Outstanding Ofsted, £2,500 for Good, £600/month full occupancy bonus).
