About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a dynamic operations team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence following significant recent investment.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the site's maintenance strategy, covering both planned and preventative maintenance. You will provide strong technical leadership, manage and develop the engineering team, and help drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Promote and lead a strong culture of health and safety, acting as a role model at all times

* Ensure all compliance requirements are met and that any remedial actions are completed promptly

* Develop and implement the site maintenance strategy within agreed timelines, budgets, and resources

* Provide technical leadership for capital expenditure and engineering projects, including cost evaluation, planning, and execution

* Lead, manage, and develop the on-site engineering team, supporting skills development and knowledge sharing

About You

* Proven experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

* Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, including planned and preventative maintenance

* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams

* Experience managing capital projects and engineering investments

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
