Attendance Officer - Long-Term Role

The Headteacher of a secondary school in Blackburn is seeking an Attendance Officer to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is a key administrative role within the school, responsible for monitoring and recording student attendance, following up on absences, and supporting the school's safeguarding and pastoral procedures.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a school attendance or administrative role

* Experience using Arbor (desirable but not essential)

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* An enhanced DBS on the update service (required due to ASAP start)

Hours: 08:15 - 15:00, Monday to Friday
