Warehouse Operative – Uddingston (Back Shift)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative – Uddingston (Back Shift) roles based in Uddingston. With peak season in full swing, this fast-paced parcel distribution site is extremely busy and requires reliable, physically fit individuals who can hit the ground running. This is a great opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential for permanent contracts.

Shifts
• Standard start time: 3:00PM
• Start time may be moved earlier to 11:00AM depending on trailer volumes
• Work available Monday to Sunday – flexibility is beneficial
• Ongoing work throughout peak and beyond

Rates of Pay
• £12.21 – £15.01 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
• Sorting parcels quickly and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks
• Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times
• Meeting tight deadlines to ensure smooth operations

Essential Skills
• Physically fit and comfortable handling parcels up to 25kg
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Flexible with start times during busy periods
• Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
