Job Advert: Quality Team Leader (Automotive)
 Location: Solihull, UK

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Shifts: Rotating Early, Late, and Night Shifts

Pay Rate: £13.50-£15.00 per hour

Additional Pay: Night shift uplift (Monday to Friday)

About the Role 
We're seeking a proactive Quality Team Leader to oversee shift operations, lead inspectors, and ensure high-quality containment and rework activities for our automotive OEM customers.

Key Responsibilities 

Lead, motivate, and train Quality Inspectors and temporary specialists.
 Deliver containment and rework projects on-time, on-budget, and to OEM quality standards.
 Ensure smooth material flow and zero disruption to customer production.
 Use eQCC for accurate data capture and enforce process adherence.
 Conduct audits, spot checks, and quality checks.
 Liaise directly with OEMs, suppliers, and customer teams.
 Create Statements of Work and ensure 100% accurate timesheets.
 Support safe working practices—report accidents and near-misses.
 Drive continuous improvement and minimise waste.
 Support onboarding and follow HR processes when required.

Requirements 

Automotive experience with OEMs/suppliers.
 Proven leadership experience in a quality or supervisory role.
 Strong audit and process compliance background.
 Excellent communication and organisational skills.
 Experience with ASRS and eQCC systems.
 Proficient in MS Office with strong attention to detail.
 Full clean UK (or equivalent) driving licence.
