We are seeking an NPORS-accredited instructor (or someone willing to work towards NPORS accreditation) to deliver plant operations, CSCS training, and practical skills sessions to learners preparing for work in construction.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, practical training in plant operations and construction safety.

*

Provide CSCS training, guidance, and support to help learners pass their tests.

*

Demonstrate safe operation of machinery and promote best site practices.

*

Assess learner performance through observation and set criteria.

*

Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and assessments.

*

Ensure the training area and equipment are safe, compliant, and well maintained.

*

Support learners in developing confidence and workplace readiness.

Ideal Candidate

*

NPORS Accredited Instructor (essential)

*

Experience operating and instructing on plant machinery

*

Strong understanding of construction site safety and CSCS requirements

*

Good communication skills and the ability to support learners of all abilities

*

Passionate about helping people progress into the construction industry

*

Reliable, organised, and confident delivering practical, hands-on training

Qualifications

*

NPORS Instructor accreditation required

*

Any of the following are an advantage (but not essential):

Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, etc.)

*

Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA)
