Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Passive Fire
Location: Orpington, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Role Purpose: Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing company in the passive fire protection sector? We are seeking a commercially astute and motivated individual to manage and control all financial and technical aspects of projects helping to minimise costs and maximise value across our operations.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

Full commercial control from inception to final account
Measurement, pricing, and evaluation of tenders
CVR reporting and forecasting
Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
Identifying areas for margin improvement
Supporting invoicing and payment processes
Ensuring Health & Safety compliance
Building and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
What We're Looking For:
Relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
Experience in passive fire protection preferred but not essential
Strong commercial acumen with a solid background in procurement and cost management
Experience working with bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and design & build contracts
Proficiency in Excel and other commercial tools
A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication and time management skills
