Assembly Operative

Location: Outskirts of Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday-Friday 07:30am-16:00pm

Salary: £12.86-£13.50 DOE + Holiday Pay + Travel Allowance

Duration: Temporary-Permanent

Having previous assembly experience ideally from a wood working background you will become part of a close-knit team working for a leading Manufacturing business on the outskirts of Ely. Job Duties:

* Confidently interpret instructions to complete glazing tasks accurately

* Use hand tools and automated machines to cut and assemble materials

* Prepare and assemble VP beading, and install glass into doors

* Assist across other areas of the business when required

* Maintain compliance with relevant certifications

* Follow companies health and safety standards

What we are looking for:

* Previous experience with hand tools

* Previous Joinery experience

* A good understanding of CAD is desirable

* Counterbalance FLT license desirable

* Strong working attitude

* Good manual dexterity
