About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join a well-established logistics operation. This is a temp-to-perm position offering long-term career development and the chance to work within a dynamic, supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planning efficient and cost-effective transport routes for a large fleet of vehicles

* Monitoring and responding to live transport issues, delays, or changes

* Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure seamless delivery operations

* Maintaining accurate records and using transport planning systems

* Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and health & safety policies

* Producing reports and KPIs related to transport operations

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role

* Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Competency using transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite

* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

* Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts or late finishes when required
