Management Accountant – £60,000

I’m recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing consultancy seeking an experienced and driven Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on role within a scaling international business. You’ll work closely with leadership and play a key part in strengthening operational finance, delivering impactful reporting, and helping the Finance Leader build a smarter, more efficient finance function.

This position offers exposure well beyond traditional management accounting, giving you the opportunity to influence processes, performance insight, and wider business operations.

The Role – Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operational Finance

• Own daily responsibility for the sales ledger, purchase ledger, and financial record-keeping
• Support month-end close and delivery of timely management reporting

KPI & Performance Reporting

• Produce performance dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership
• Provide meaningful commercial insight across projects, margins, and performance

Process & Systems Improvement

• Enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and finance processes
• Contribute to the implementation of new finance systems and ways of working

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Finance Director on analysis and business performance
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders and help drive a data-informed culture

Key Requirements

• ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Several years’ progressive experience within consulting or project-led environments
• Strong management accounting, analysis, and KPI reporting expertise
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-moving scale-up environment
• Proven experience implementing new finance systems and processes
• Confident communicator, able to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships

• £60,000 salary
