Key Responsibilities -
Leadership and Management: Support the Headteacher in the day-to-day management of the school and the strategic development of our alternative provision curriculum.

Pastoral and Safeguarding: Lead on pastoral care and be a driving force for our safeguarding culture, ensuring the well-being of all students.

Teaching and Learning: Oversee the quality of teaching and learning, mentoring staff, and implementing innovative teaching strategies for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Student Outcomes: Use data effectively to monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions to help every child achieve their full potential.

Partnerships: Build strong relationships with parents, external agencies, and the wider Burnley community to create a supportive network around our students.
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a dynamic leader with QTS and a proven track record of success in a school or AP setting. You will have the passion, resilience, and empathy required to inspire both students and staff.
Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant leadership experience.

A genuine passion for working with students who have faced barriers to learning.
