Our client, a well-established manufacturer specialising in high-quality, handcrafted upholstered furniture are seeking an experienced manufacturing manager to join their team.

This opportunity will be based at their site in South Wales.

Manufacturing Manager Job Overview

Lead and supervise the daily operations of the upholstery department
Manage and train a team of approx. 50 employees.
Plan and allocate workloads to meet production schedules and deadlines
Oversee the inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., design, production, logistics) to coordinate workflow.
Evaluate processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency
Monitor performance and provide feedback to staff for continuous improvement Manufacturing Manager Job Requirements

Proven experience in a Manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Ideal candidate will have experience in Upholstery and Furniture manufacturing
Understanding of Manufacturing processes and familiarity with design specifications and technical drawings.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Manufacturing Manager Salary & Benefits

Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 17:00 / Friday 07:30 - 13:30
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Voluntary overtime paid at a premium rate
Fully on-site permanent position
28 days holiday per year pro rata
