Speech & Language Therapist - Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

A multi-award-winning specialist school for young people aged 11-19 with autism, as a Speech & Language Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality assessment and therapy to children and young people with ASD and associated difficulties such as speech, language, communication needs, ADHD, and anxiety.
Day-to-day of the role: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in collaboration with the educational team.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, the School Nurse, and the education team to integrate therapeutic approaches.
- Monitor and report on the progress of therapy, adjusting plans as necessary to meet the needs of each student.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and strategize on student care and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - HCPC registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.
- Experience in working with children and young people with ASD.
- Knowledge of a range of therapeutic interventions and approaches relevant to ASD, ADHD, and anxiety.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
