About the Role

Recruit UK is working with a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm that is looking to add a Paraplanner or Trainee Paraplanner to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in paraplanning, or for an ambitious individual looking to begin a career in financial planning support.

You will work closely with Financial Planners to provide high-quality technical and administrative support, helping to deliver tailored financial advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters
• Conducting research on financial products and solutions
• Assisting advisers with client meeting preparation
• Analysing client information and financial planning needs
• Supporting the advice process to ensure compliance with regulations
• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

About You

For Experienced Paraplanners:

• Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical financial planning support role
• Strong report writing and research skills
• Good understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products
• Ideally working towards or holding relevant qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning)

For Trainee Paraplanners:

• Strong interest in financial planning and wealth management
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to study towards professional qualifications
