We're working with a main contractor to recruit a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor, managing the prelims package for a £200m+ project. You will join a major project with up to 3 years' of construction, working with a collaborative team to capture change, produce accurate forecasts and achieve the best outcome for all stakeholders.

Senior Quantity Surveyor duties:

* Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation

* Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money

* Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract

* Raise early warning notices, compensation events

* Reviewing prelim forecasting and highlight risks and opportunities

Experience of heavy civils is essential and we expect a Senior Quantity Surveyor to have shown a clear route of progression through Quantity Surveying on NEC Contractual Projects. If you are Quantity Surveyor looking to make the step up, please apply.
