Our client is in the FY2 area with the main mission to ensure that everyone feels safe and happy in a secure environment. Currently this pre-school requires a teaching assistant to support learning. You will be working collaboratively in a small team with an inclusive class of up to 30 pupils. You may be required to support the class as a whole, small groups and 1:1 provision so flexibility to the role is key.
Ideally you will have an understanding of the EYFS framework and recent relevant experience in early years provision.
The role will require a committed individual to support five days a week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.30 - 4.30 with possibility of extending as and when the pre-school requires extra support.
Key responsibilities:

Support the pre-school pupils with their learning in 1:1, small groups and the whole class.

Collaborate with the class teacher regarding expectations and organising appropriate activities.

Liaise with other professionals within the setting eg. Teachers, TAs, specialist support staff.

Support the monitoring and tracking of all pupils in line with the assessment procedures in school.
Essential Requirements:

Experience of working in an EYFS environment.

Be comfortable and competent working as a collaborative member of a team.

Ability to engage with the pupils and have FUN through learning!

Be creative and proactive, not always working under direction.

TA and early years qualified - Level 2 or 3.
Desirable Requirements:

Knowledge of the new EYFS framework.

An understanding of SEN or learning needs.

Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
