Nursery Practitioner

Located a short drive from Wokingham we have a setting on the lookout for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner.

This nursery inspires children to be curious about the world around them and offers excellent resources like the library and an outside growing area for children to experience and gain a love of the natural world. This is a home from home environment where diversity is celebrated, and the children enjoy activities such as singing and learning Spanish.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will provide comprehensive care and education to young children your care. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement activities whilst observing the children's progress
• Build relationships with the team and parents to create an inspiring working environment
• Encourage a love of learning
• Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
• Follow policies and procedures within the nursery to uphold standards of childcare excellence

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Recognised Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification
• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or with children under the age of 5
• Knowledge of the Early years foundation stage (EYFS)
• Able to work as part of a friendly team
